Andy Kirby first showed a passion for playing the drums at age 12
when he started taking lessons! Since then he hasn't look
back and Andy's career as a rock/groove drummer began with session
work in the early '90's.
Since 1997 Andy has performed
and recorded in the UK and
Europe with alternative rock
band "Tantric", fronted by
former "Public Image
Limited" (PIL) guitarist Ted Chau,
guitarist Paul Bowman
and bass player
Mic Stoner. In
2000 the band continued as
the "Candyheads" and released
the album "Go
Forth and Multiply".
Andy joined "The Existence"
in 2003 with ex "Flight 16"
singer/songwriter Dave J. Sears and co-writer Rod Brown. Andy worked with Dave
Sears and
old friend Paul Cusack (bass) to
the project's conclusion in the summer of 2006.
Paul Cusack and Andy have been working together since the early 90's.
In 2007
Andy
started working with an awesome female singer/songwriter "MALONE" who's
excellent debut album is due for release in 2009.
Andy Kirby is currently
performing and recording with
'Malone' and hopes to take the show on the road soon!
